GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION
We are all sinful and in need of salvation.
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23
Those who persist in this sinful state will face ultimate and eternal doom.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15
We cannot free ourselves from the enslaving power of sin.
“…knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law…” Galatians 2:16
“…You must be born again.” John 3:7
Christ suffered and paid the penalty for our sin.
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
All who turn from sin, put their trust in the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ, and receive Him as Lord and Savior are granted the free gift of eternal salvation and the joy and personal benefit of a permanent relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away…” Acts 3:19
“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” Romans 10:9 and 10
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,” John 1:12
“…Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
If you have not invited the Lord Jesus Christ into your life, may we urge you to do so right now.
